It is the labor of love of two beautiful people who were never afraid to dream big.From the plan design to its completion including interiors , it took us three long years to complete this project and hence one of the longest one in our work history.
Master Bedroom
They came to 3DB’s office holding the little girl Tanoo who was then 5 months old. Now the cutie is 3 years old. The home was built with lot of breaks in between mainly due to the financial constraints. But they were very consistent on what they wanted. They were ready to wait, till they could raise the money they required to build their dream.
It is interesting to note that Sree Lakshmi got the job as Assistant Engineer in Electricity board in this frame of time.She also followed her passion in jewelry designing and now runs a successful business online called Saatrangi.It is, in fact her artistic inclination that inspired me to go for a bold colour choice in their Master Bedroom.
It has been a long association with Sree Lekshmi .Even though located in Trivandrum itslef ,I have known and understood her vibrant personality mostly through her FaceBook posting.Never afraid to be speak her mind,it has been a delight to work for her.Her comments, negative or positive ,we can always take it, as it is.There has been never been, a need for second guessing for any hidden meaning ,because she always means what she say’s.A virtue very difficult to find these days.
Formal Living
And as I am writing this blog ,I couldn’t help but remember these lines “And ,When you want something deeply ,all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it” from the The Alchemist.
